DACSA Produccions

Dacsa Produccions is an film and television production company with more than 30 years of experience, created around a core of professionals in the audiovisual sector with the aim of developing and creating audiovisual projects in all areas of creation.

 

A “Tabarka” (1996), their first feature film, is followed by more than 40 productions, including fiction and documentary feature films, short films, TV-movies, video clips and also advertising. Many of them, recognized in prestigious international film festivals such as the San Sebastián Film Festival, SEMINCI, the Warsaw Film Festival, the Shanghai Film Festival, the Sitges Festival, DocsDF, DOK Leipzig, and a long etcetera .

 

Among their feature films stand out “Faltas Leves” (2006), “Entre Esquelas” (2009), “Orson West” (2011), “Mil coses que faria per tu” (2017), among others.

They have produced the documentaries “Iberia” directed by Carlos Saura (2005) and winner of the Goya at the Best Photography, “La sombra del Iceberg” (2007), “Cómicos" (2009), nominated to the Goya to the Best Documentary, “Miguel Hernández” (2010), “Espías en la arena: Objetivo España” (2017), “Cabanyal any zero” (2019), “Camagroga” (2020), preselected for the Goya Best Documentary Film and “Persona [no] humana” (2022), selected in film festivals in South Korea, Bolivia and Urugua and nominated to the Berlanga Award for Best Documentary Film.

 

In 2023, they released «Quan no acaba la nit», directed by Óscar Montón, and nominated to the Berlanga Awards for Best Costume Design and Best Original Score.

Their next projects are «Llobàs», directed by Pau Calpe, selected at Warsaw Film Festival and set to premiere in theaters in 2024 and "Valenciana", by Jordi Núñez. «Valenciana» de Jordi Núñez.
