SYNOPSIS

After more than 75 years, Vicente Montejano tells in first person his experience of more than 14 years in the Russian Gulag after the end of the Spanish Civil War. Vicente is the last survivor of a group of 12 young republican pilots who were surprised by the end of the war while taking a war aviation course in Kirovabav, in the former USSR.

La historia de Vicente transcurre desde su llegada a Rusia, pasando por el final de la Guerra Civil y su traslado a los campos de concentración de Siberia durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial hasta su repatriación a España a mitad de los años 50 en plena represión franquista. A través de su relato, conoceremos un pedazo más de nuestra historia reciente y de los estragos de una guerra que marcó durante 40 años el destino de un país. Gracias a Vicente Montejano, conoceremos la historia de “El último aviador”.
