SYNOPSIS

For 18 years, El Cabanyal, Valencia's historic maritime district, fiercly resisted a senseless urban project by the city council that planned to demolish it.

In 2015, the arrival of a new municipal government raised many hopes in the neighborhood. But, how to heal the wounds and damage suffered by the locals and homes? How to rehabilitate without betraying the utopias born from the struggle?

Following various residents of the neighborhood, this is an intimate chronicle of a micro-society at risk of dehumanization.
